Abstract
Genset is a device that functions to generate electrical power, namely from motion energy into electrical energy which is usually used in generation. In this study, Pre-Test Commissioning was carried out which was a load test and installation of the generator itself without using an automated system by the Distributor and carried out in a testing warehouse before being marketed to consumers. Preparations for Pre-Test Commissioning such as filling oil, filling coolant, fuel and installing ACCU are carried out based on the specification datasheet of the generator itself. The amount of power at each stage of the load test depends on the capacity of the generator itself. In the large capacity of the Genset being tested, there is fluctuation in the data in the calculation of the data on the physical data of the Genset. In this study, the test and current data contained fluctuating or changing numbers that did not exceed the 5% tolerance limit, so the generator was declared prime and worthy of sale.
